There have been so many days lately where I have wanted to call in sick. Today was one of those days. I don't know what it is lately. I think I just needed to take it easy and relax. It was nice to see my brother (who flew in from Miami) for the weekend, but sometimes it wears me out. It's just tiring because we do so much when he comes. On his way out the door he gave me a bottle of this herbal product that you can apply to your bath. He said, "Take it easy sis." I sure took it easy alright. I have to thank him tomorrow because today was herbal bliss. I need to get some more natural products.

Sister and Cosmetic Blogs

First off, why does my sister have to copy my every move? She started her own blog, called cute booties. I think it is sort of silly, but she loves shoes -- so why blame her? I, on the other hand, can't get enough of lipsticks, glosses, and chapsticks. I guess I'm sort of flattered because I'm idolized when it comes to how I apply my cosmetics. My sister must just be jealous... LISTEN TO THIS CHRISTINE.;)

New cosmetic Friend

A new cosmetic crazy girl entered my class today. Yeah that means someone else like me. That is okay though, I need a partner in crime. She was telling me how she hated the matte finish lipstick. The kind that sticks to your lips and wont come off. She told me a horror story once that she put on her moms lipstick by mistake, right before her big date. It was like purple and it wouldnt come off I cant imagine.

I sometimes wonder why people even wear lipstick. Perhaps its the fact that our society has made every woman feel as if red lips are beautiful. Forget pale ones, flat ones, disporportioned ones. In order to be "perfect," lush glistening lips is the only way to go. In a way, I wish my lips were perfect without any gloss. I am addicted, yes, but if only times changed.

Puffy lips

I hate lipgloss, I know. I'm still not wearing it. However, I would like to find something that enhances my pout. You know, something that makes my lips look GREAT without all of the goo. I heard Lip Venom works great, but who knows. My partner in crime is obsessed w/ lip stuff, so I will probably ask for her opinion. I guarentee that once I do get some sort of product, my entries will belong on 'cosmetic blunders.'

I hate lipstick.

I hate lipgloss.

I CANT STAND chapstick.

I hate everything about cosmetics that go on your lips.

Does this make me crazy?

My friends always tell me that my lips look too pale.. but I can't stand the sticky goo.

Maybe one day they'll come up with something better....
